“Independent living foster home” defined.

NRS 424.0153 “Independent living foster home” defined. “Independent living foster home” means a foster home which provides assistance with the transition to independent living for children who have entered into an agreement to transition to independent living and for children who: 1. Are at least 16 years of age; 2. Are not related within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity to any natural person maintaining or operating the home; and 3. Are received, cared for and maintained for compensation or otherwise, including the provision of free care. (Added to NRS by 2013, 1434; A 2021, 2715; 2023, 2064)
