NRS 482.162 Department to adopt regulations setting forth criteria for determination of whether person is farmer or rancher; presentation of evidence to Department. The Department shall adopt regulations establishing the criteria to be used to determine whether a person is a farmer or rancher for the purposes of NRS 482.036 and 706.071. A person must present appropriate evidence to allow the Department to make the determination that the person satisfies the criteria set forth in the regulations. (Added to NRS by 1991, 2353)
