NRS 486.385 Local authorities prohibited from enacting ordinance providing criminal penalty if chapter prescribes civil penalty. A local authority shall not enact an ordinance providing a criminal penalty for a violation of this chapter for which the penalty prescribed by this chapter is a civil penalty.
