NRS 618.936 Penalty for acting as photovoltaic installer without license or employing or contracting with person to act as installer without license. 1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, a person shall not: (a) Act as a photovoltaic installer for a photovoltaic system project unless the person holds a license as a photovoltaic installer issued by the Division; or (b) Employ or contract with another person to act as a photovoltaic installer for a photovoltaic system project unless the other person holds a license as a photovoltaic installer issued by the Division. 2. A person is not required to obtain a license from the Division to install or maintain a photovoltaic system project on property that the person owns and occupies as a residence. 3.
