6. a. The authority shall appoint a director to manage the activities associated with the "social innovation loan fund" established pursuant to section 5 of P.L.2021, c.434 (C.34:1B-268.7). The director shall receive compensation as determined by the authority. b. Except as provided in subsection a. of this section, the activities required pursuant to P.L.2021, c.434 (C.34:1B-268.3 et seq.) shall only be staffed from existing authority staff resources.
