54:5-52.3. Effect of duplicate certificate; cancellation on finding of original
The said duplicate certificate shall be valid and effectual to all intents and purposes as though it were the original; and in the event the original certificate is thereafter found the same shall be cancelled forthwith by the proper officer of the municipality. L.1940, c. 90, p. 220, s. 3.
