Creation of planning commission

Any county may by ordinance establish a planning commission. A county planning commission shall consist of not less than five (5) members who shall be appointed by the county commission. Administrative officials of the county may be appointed as ex- officio nonvoting members of the planning commission. History: 1953 Comp., § 15-58-1, enacted by Laws 1967, ch. 150, § 1.
