Authority; members' compensation

Appointed voting members of the authority shall be reimbursed for expenses in accordance with those provisions of the Per Diem and Mileage Act [10-8-1 to 10-8-8 NMSA 1978] that apply to nonsalaried public officers unless a different provision of that act applies to a specific member, in which case that member shall be paid under the applicable provision. Members and advisors shall receive no other compensation, perquisite or allowance for serving as a member of or advisor to the authority. History: Laws 1991, ch. 131, § 5; 1995, ch. 192, § 3.
