A. The superintendent's investigators shall be peace officers pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 29, Article 1 NMSA 1978. B. An investigator who meets the requirements for certification for law enforcement training pursuant to Section 29-7-6 NMSA 1978 shall be authorized to carry a firearm.
