Funding

A. To fund the planning, implementation and operation of the exchange, the board shall contract with the human services department [health care authority department] or any other state agency that receives federal funds allocated, appropriated or granted to the state for purposes of funding the planning, implementation or operation of a health insurance exchange. B. The human services department [health care authority department] or any other state agency that receives federal funds allocated, appropriated or granted to the state for purposes of funding the planning, implementation or operation of a health insurance exchange shall contract with the board to provide those funds to the exchange in consideration for its planning, implementation or operation.
