Penalty for violation of law or rules

Violation of any of the provisions of Chapter 59A, Article 52 NMSA 1978 or of any of the rules lawfully enacted pursuant to that article shall constitute a misdemeanor for which the punishment shall be a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500).
