NMSA 1978, § 61-12C-5

A. An individual shall not provide or offer to provide massage therapy for compensation unless that individual is a massage therapist. B. An individual shall not use the title of or make any representation as being a massage therapist or use any other title, abbreviations, letters, figures, signs or devices that indicate the individual is a massage therapist unless the individual is a massage therapist.
