Termination of agency life; delayed repeal

The coal surface mining commission is terminated on July 1, 2035 pursuant to the Sunset Act [12-9-11 to 12-9-21 NMSA 1978]. The commission shall continue to operate according to the provisions of the Surface Mining Act until July 1, 2036. Effective July 1, 2036, Section 69-25A-4 NMSA 1978 is repealed.
