Citation

Citation. If, 30 days after the initial notification by the mayor’s office, in compliance with 10 CMC § 1604, the junk parts have not been removed, the mayor’s office shall issue a citation for violation of this chapter. Said citation shall be delivered in person or by registered mail to the place of doing business on the island of Rota, whether a job site or other business establishment and shall also be sent by registered mail to the party’s address as shown on the party’s Commonwealth business license. The citation shall inform the party that if any facts contained in the citation are contested, the mayor’s office must be informed of such, in writing, within 14 days of the delivery of the citation. If no such notification of contested facts is received within such time, then the facts contained therein shall be deemed admitted. Source: Rota LL 8-1, § 6.
