Second Senatorial District: Pachinko Slot and Poker Machine Annual Local License Fees. Pursuant to 4 CMC § 1503 and 1 CMC § 1402(c)(5), there is established an annual local license fee of $6,000 for each poker machine licensed under 4 CMC § 1503(a)(2) and for each pachinko slot machine licensed under 4 CMC § 1503(a)(5). Commission Comment: The Commission corrected the spelling of the word “licensed” before the first occurrence of the word “under” pursuant to its authority by 1 CMC § 3806(g) to correct manifest errors. TLL 14-2 took effect on March 31, 2005, and contained severability and savings provisions. TLL 142 contained a technical defect with its title caption format by not stating it was a local bill for an act and the name of the senatorial district as mandated by 1 CMC § 1406. TLL was enacted on September 15, 2006, and contained severability and savings provisions. In codifying TLL 23-10, the Commission omitted drafting marks pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(g).
