TITLE 6: CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

DIVISION 10: SPECIAL ACT FOR FIREARMS ENFORCEMENT (SAFE) § 10606. Contents of Firearm Owner’s Identification Card. (a) A Firearm Owner's Identification Card, issued by the Department of Public Safety at such places as the Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety shall specify, shall contain the applicant's name, residence, date of birth, sex, physical description, recent photograph, and signature. Each Firearm Owner's Identification Card must have the expiration date displayed on the face of the card. (b) Each Firearm Owner's Identification Card must have printed on it the following: “This card is only valid for firearm purchases through a federally licensed firearms dealer when presented with photographic identification, as prescribed by 18 U.S.C. 922(t)(l)(C).” (c) The Department of Public Safety is authorized to include any other information that it deems relevant on the Firearm Owner's Identification Card.
