DIVISION 10: SPECIAL ACT FOR FIREARMS ENFORCEMENT (SAFE) § 10608. Duration of Firearm Owner’s Identification Card. (a) Except as otherwise provided by law, a Firearm Owner's Identification Card issued under the provisions of this Division shall be valid for the person to whom it is issued for a period of three years from the date of issuance. (b) A member of law enforcement must apply for a new Firearm Owner's Identification Card if the person ceases to be a member of law enforcement. Source: PL 19-73 § 4 (Dec. 1, 2016), modified.
