DIVISION 10: SPECIAL ACT FOR FIREARMS ENFORCEMENT (SAFE) § 10612. National instant criminal background check system – notice required. Notwithstanding 6 CMC § 10611 , if the Department of Public Safety determines that a person or organization is prohibited from acquiring or possessing a Firearm Owner's Identification Card, under this Division or federal law, then the Department shall notify the National Instant Criminal Background Check System and provide the appropriate information within 30 days of its determination.
