DIVISION 10: SPECIAL ACT FOR FIREARMS ENFORCEMENT (SAFE) § 10763. Inspections. (a) Licensees shall have their places of business open for inspection by the Department of Public Safety during all hours of operation. (b) The Department shall conduct an inspection of the business in connection with the initial issuance of a permit, and thereafter conduct an inspection in connection with each annual renewal of the permit, and unannounced inspections as the Department of Public Safety requires to ensure compliance with this Chapter. Licensees shall maintain all records, documents, firearms, and ammunition in a manner and place accessible for inspection by federal and Commonwealth law enforcement.
