DIVISION 10: SPECIAL ACT FOR FIREARMS ENFORCEMENT (SAFE) § 10901. Minimum criminal penalties. Where ever a maximum criminal penalty is imposed in this Division, there shall be a minimum penalty equal to 10% of the maximum penalty. Commission Comment: The Commission numbered and created the title for this chapter and section pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(a). The Commission rearranged this section to fit harmoniously within this Code pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(b). The Commission substituted “this Division” for “Title 6, Dvision 10” pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(d). In codifying PL 19-73 the Commission renumbered Chapter 6 to Chapter 11.
