3 CMC § 12145

Transfer of Property, Personnel, and Funds to NMTI. Upon the directive of the Committee on Transition, the Northern Marianas Trade Institute and appropriate government authority, including the Governor and the Department of Public Lands, as the case may be, shall transfer to NMTI: (a) All real property owned by the Northern Marianas Trade Institute and all other real and personal property, fixed assets, and capital goods used exclusively for functions and duties which are to be assumed by NMTI, and all materials and supplies used exclusively in connection herewith; (b) All personnel and school records used in the administration and operations of the Northern Marianas Trade Institute shall be transferred to NMTI; (c) All unexpended balances of appropriations, allocations, allotments, or other funds available for the use by the Northern Marianas Trade Institute shall be transferred to NMTI; and (d) Any funds and appropriations for functions and duties transferred to NMTI from the Northern Marianas Trade Institute shall become assets of NMTI and be deposited into the financial accounts of NMTI.
