Right of Civil Action. An individual who is a victim of a violation under this Act may bring a subsequent civil action in the Commonwealth Superior Court. The court may award actual damages, punitive damages, reasonable attorney’s fees, and other litigation costs reasonably incurred. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the filing of a civil action prior to the commencement of a criminal prosecution under a statute in this Act. Source: PL 14-88, § 3 (1507), modified.
