Jurisdiction; Venue; Residency Not Required to Petition. (a) The Commonwealth Superior Court has jurisdiction to issue orders for protections. (b) A petition for an order for protection may be filed in the Commonwealth Superior Court: (1) Where the petitioner currently or temporarily resides; (2) Where the respondent resides; or (3) Where the domestic or family violence occurred.
