Short Title. This chapter may be cited as the Fish, Game and Endangered Species Act. Source: PL 2-51, § 1. Commission Comment: PL 2-51 took effect October 19, 1981; see also 1 CMC § 2661, establishing the Division of Fish and Wildlife within the Department of Natural Resources. PL 2-51, § 11 repealed the following laws, effective “on a date specified in regulations issued by the director, or 180 days after [October 19, 1981], whichever is earlier”: PL 1-18, § 1; DL 5-21; Saipan Municipal Ordinance 25-22-1974; 3 Saipan Municipal Code § 61; Rota Municipal Code ch. 10.10; and Trust Territory Code title 45.
