§ 20105. Chief Administrative Officer. The Special Assistant shall be the chief administrative officer of the Office and shall be appointed and serve at the pleasure of the Governor. The Special Assistant shall be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Office and the development and submission of the Office’s annual budget request to the Governor via the Council. The Special Assistant shall have hiring authority for such staff as is deemed necessary to carry out the functions of the Office. The Special Assistant shall be the expenditure authority for funds appropriated to the Office. Source: PL 12-67, § 9; amended by PL 19-47 § 2 (June 2, 2016).
