DIVISION 2: SECOND SENATORIAL DISTRICT (TINIAN, ETC.)

§ 20304. Tinian Island Street Naming Committee. There shall be established a Tinian Island Street Naming Committee (hereafter referred to as “Committee”) that shall be empowered to exercise the powers delegated to them by this Article. The Committee shall consist of at least three members, appointed by the Mayor, who shall be comprised of personnel from the Mayor’s Office and shall serve a term that will end with the term of the appointing Mayor. The Committee is the recommending body to the Mayor. The Street Naming Committee is authorized to adopt additional administrative rules whenever a special circumstance mandates the need for such additional rule to govern application of the Article and its procedures. However, the Mayor shall approve all such administrative rules before taking effect. Members of the Committee shall serve without additional compensation.
