§ 2101. Short Title. This law may be cited as the Northern Mariana Islands Probate Law. Source: PL 3-106, ch. 1, § 1. Commission Comment: PL 3-106 took effect February 15, 1984. PL 3-106, ch. 11, § 1. Many provisions in PL 3-106 are similar to provisions in the Uniform Probate Code approved by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and the American Bar Association in 1969. The uniform act has been adopted (with variations) in several U.S. jurisdictions.
