§ 2115. Proceeds from the Sale of Slaughter Permits; Special Account; Appropriation. The proceeds from the sale of slaughter permits required by 10 CMC § 2103, shall be collected by the finance director and deposited in the General Fund in a special account to be called, “Tinian Municipal Scholarship/Slaughter Fees Account.” The Tinian legislative delegation hereby authorizes a continuing appropriation from that special account to apply all proceeds for support of and redeposit in the scholarship fund established in 10 CMC § 2205 (Scholarship Fund), there to be used solely for the purposes authorized by title 10, division 2, chapter 2 [10 CMC § 2201 et seq.]. According to PL 3-90, §7(a) (reprinted in the preface material, prior to title 1), “section headings . . . do not in any manner affect the scope, meaning, or intent of the provisions of this Code.”
