§ 2322. Appointments: Failure to Confirm. If the mayor’s appointment pursuant to 10 CMC § 2321 is not confirmed by the municipal council within 30 days from the date the person was temporarily appointed, the appointment shall automatically terminate and the position shall become vacant and the person nominated shall not be renominated.
