§ 2489. Procurement of Professional Services. The Chief of the Central Statistics Division, with the express authority of the Director of the Department of Commerce and Labor, and subject to budgetary appropriation, shall have the authority to contract with educational and other research organizations for the preparation of reports and materials of a similar nature.
