§ 2505. Department of Public Safety: Staff. (a) The Department of Public Safety may employ staff as required to assist it in performing its duties, subject to budgetary appropriation. (b) The Commissioner for the Department of Public Safety may deputize law enforcement officers as required to assist the Department of Public Safety in the performance of its duties.
