§ 2514. Rules of Construction. (a) In construing the provisions of this chapter, save when otherwise plainly declared or clearly apparent from the context: (1) Words in the present tense shall include the future tense. (2) Words in the masculine shall include the feminine and neutral genders. (3) Words in the singular shall include the plural and the plural shall include the singular. (b) A reference in this chapter to “casino operation” or “operation of a casino” or to a like expression in relation to a casino is a reference to the operation and conduct in respect of a casino of: (1) gaming; and (2) money counting surveillance, accounting, storage, and other activities in connection with or related or incidental to gaming and its operation and conduct in respect of a casino.
