§ 25171. Bribery of Officers of the Commission. (a) Any officer of the Commission who corruptly asks for, receives or obtains or agrees to receive or obtain any money, property or benefit of any kind for himself or any other person: (1) to forego or neglect his duty or influence him in the performance of his duty as an officer of the Commission; (2) on account of anything already done or omitted to be done or to be afterwards done or omitted to be done by him in the discharge of his duty as an officer of the Commission; or (3) to use or take advantage of his office improperly to gain a benefit or advantage for or facilitate the commission of an offense by another person is, in addition to being in violation of the Criminal Code of the Commonwealth, in violation of this chapter. (b) Any person who corruptly gives, confers or procures or promises or offers to give or confer or procure or to attempt to procure, upon or for any officer of the Commission or any other person any money, property or benefit of any kind: (1) to forego or neglect his duty or influence him in the performance of his duty as an officer of the Commission; (2) on account of anything already done or omitted to be done by him in the discharge of his duty as an officer of the Commission; (3) to use or take advantage of his office improperly to gain a benefit or advantage for or facilitate the commission of an offense by another person, is, in addition to being in violation of the Criminal Code of the Commonwealth, in violation of this chapter.
