Notice of Medical and Personal Rights Required. Persons, upon admission, must receive a copy of all the rights they are entitled to during their stay in the evaluation or treatment facility. These rights must be provided in a language that the patient understands. If a patient is unable to read, notice of these rights should be read to him or her. A copy of patient rights must be posted in all appropriate languages in a common area in the hospital ward that is accessible to all of the patients, whether inpatient or outpatient.
