§ 2643. Board of Nurse Examiners. [Repealed]. Source: PL 3-29, § 6; repealed by PL 14-62, § 1. Commission Comment: PL 3-29, the “Nurse Practice Act of 1989,” took effect November 26, 1982. See also 3 CMC § 2301 et seq. With respect to the reference to the “Director of the Department of Public Health and Environmental Services” and the department itself, see Executive Order 94-3 (effective August 23, 1994), reorganizing the executive branch, changing agency names and official titles, and effecting other changes, set forth in the Commission comment to 1 CMC § 2001; see also the comment to 1 CMC § 2601. PL 14-62, which repealed in entirety the above section along with 3 CMC §§ 2301-2372, was enacted on March 31, 2005, and created the “Nurse Practice Act,” codified in 3 CMC §§ 2301-2319.
