§ 2661. Division of Fish and Wildlife. (a) There is in the Department of Lands and Natural Resources a Division of Fish and Wildlife, headed by a director serving under the supervision and control of the secretary. (b) The Division of Fish and Wildlife is a successor to the marine resources division. All powers and duties assigned to the marine resources division shall be considered as assigned to the Division of Fish and Wildlife. (c) In addition to the powers and duties assigned to the division pursuant to subsection (b) of this section, the director shall be responsible for the day-to-day administration and enforcement of the Fish, Game, and Endangered Species Act, as amended [2 CMC § 5101 et seq.].
