§ 27104. Exemption From Commercial Utility Rates. (a) Notwithstanding any law or regulation to the contrary, any business operating as a CFO or MEHKO shall be exempt from commercial rates for the use of electric, water and wastewater, and shall be assigned residential rates for electric, water, and wastewater usage. (b) Any business operating as a CFO or MEHKO must provide necessary documentation as requested by the utility provider as proof to confirm eligibility for this exemption. This exemption shall remain in effect as long as the business maintains the necessary qualifications and requirements provided in this chapter. Source: PL 24-22, § 3 (Jan. 8, 2026).
