§ 28021. Division of Fire Prevention and Arson Investigation: Deputy Commissioner; Appointment, Funding and Compensation. The Division of Fire Prevention and Arson Investigation shall be headed by a qualified Deputy Commissioner of the Division of Fire Prevention and Arson. The Deputy Commissioner of the Division of Fire Prevention and Arson Investigation is hereby designated as the “CNMI Fire Marshal.” The compensation for the Deputy Commissioner shall receive no less than and not exceed a base salary of $42,000 per annum.
