§ 3156. Naming of Public Buildings. Where practical, the Mayor of Saipan may identify on the master map the names of public buildings as buildings are named by the Saipan local delegation from time to time. Identification of the name of buildings shall include the name given by local law, the location of the building, and street address number. The Saipan local delegation shall have the sole discretion to enact local laws naming public buildings in Saipan. Commission Comment: In codifying SLL 21-14, the Commission inserted a period after “Saipan” at the end of the paragraph pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(g). The Commission retained the section number as § 3156 instead of § 3159 pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(a), (g).
