2 CMC § 3213

Definition. As used in this chapter: (a) “Administrators” means the soil and water conservation district administrators established in 2 CMC § 3225. (b) “Department” means the Department of Natural Resources. (c) “Director” means the Director of the Department of Natural Resources. (d) “District” means the soil and water conservation districts established in 2 CMC § 3221. (e) “Farm land owner and occupier” means a person who is an owner or operator of land used for the purpose of commercially producing livestock, crops, fruits and nuts, vines, bushes or other agricultural products. (f) “Land occupier” or “occupier of land” means any person, who has title to or, in the case of leased land, the person who holds possession of, any land lying within a district under this chapter.
