§ 3617. Funds Collected. Notwithstanding the provisions 1 CMC § 1403, the Mayor of Saipan, upon the approval of the Saipan legislative delegation by resolution, may expend, obligate, encumber, etc., any and all funds deposited in the special account. The mayor shall submit to the Saipan legislative delegation chairperson a detailed funds status report not later than September 30 of each fiscal year. Except as provided in 10 CMC §§ 3614 and 3615, all funds collected under this chapter shall be placed in a special account to be established by the Secretary of Finance.
