§ 3804. Law Revision Commission: Proposed Legislation. (a) In formulating proposed legislation, the commission shall, to the extent feasible, examine: (1) Local customary law; (2) The common law of other American jurisdictions; and (3) Recommendations of the American Law Institute, the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, and other sources of information on statutory systems. (b) The commission may propose measures to prevent or resolve contradictions or inconsistencies within the Commonwealth Code and to eliminate redundant and obsolete statutes. (c) Any legislation recommended for enactment by the commission must be approved by a majority of the members of the commission, and must be accompanied by a minority report, if any.
