MVA Membership

MVA Membership. The board shall adopt bylaws relative to procedures whereby an interested person, organization, corporation, association or any other entity may become a member of the MVA. Such bylaws shall include, but shall not be limited to: (a) Fees and charges required for membership; (b) Categories of membership, if any; and (c) Voting procedures for choosing the four board member positions under 4 CMC § 2111(a)(2) except that the initial four board members shall be chosen within 30 days of the effective date of this chapter by the paying members of the Marianas Visitors Bureau. For the purposes of this subsection, “paying member” shall mean those paying members of the Marianas Visitors Bureau on the day before the effective date of this chapter. Source: PL 11-15, § 10.
