Medicaid and Other Public Health Assistance. Consistent with Title 19 U.S.C. § 1902(j) and the waiver of the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services pursuant thereto, and state and federal law, the Medicaid program managed by the CNMI Medicaid Agency, and any other public health care assistance program offered or managed by the CNMI or by any subdivision or instrumentality of the CNMI, shall provide coverage and payment for mental and/or behavioral health services delivered to a benefits recipient by telehealth, on the same basis and at the same reimbursement rate as when the services are delivered by in-person contact and consultation.
