§ 4223. Senior Land Commissioner: Deputies, Employees and Other Assistance. (a) The Senior Land Commissioner may appoint two deputy land commissioners and may delegate any duties and responsibilities to them. (b) Subject to budgetary appropriation, the Senior Land Commissioner may recruit such employees as are necessary to accomplish the purposes of this chapter. (c) Upon request of the Senior Land Commissioner, the Division of Lands and Survey of the Department of Natural Resources shall make available such surveying and other staff assistance as the Senior Land Commissioner deems necessary.
