§ 43102. Designation of Agricultural Homestead Area. Such areas of public lands in the Northern Islands as may be suitable for village, and agricultural homesteading purposes, and which are not required for government use or reserved for other purposes by any other provision of law, shall be designated by the Department of Public Lands on behalf of the Commonwealth Government for village, and agricultural homesteading purposes. Such areas may, in accordance with the provisions of this article, be allotted to qualified persons for the purpose of establishing and developing village lots or agricultural lots with the right to acquire title upon the fulfillment of the conditions prescribed in this article.
