§ 4347. New Homestead Permits. Each homestead permit issued after September 7, 1983, shall be issued in the name of both the applicant and his or her spouse if the permit is issued in whole or in part because the applicant is married and the rights in each homestead shall be deemed to be held jointly with the right of survivorship.
