§ 4362. Effect of Law on Liability of U.S. and Trust Territory Governments. Nothing in this article shall effect the liability of or amount of damages owed by the governments of the United States and of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands to any claimant or litigant for any land encroachment or taking in which those governments may have participated prior to January 26, 1984.
