§ 4371. Short Title. This article may be cited as the First, Second, and Third Senatorial Districts Agricultural Homestead Act of 2023. Source: PL 6-15, § 1; repealed and reenacted by PL 23-34, § 3 (Jan. 10, 2025). Commission Comment: With respect to the effective date of PL 6-15, see the comment to 2 CMC § 4372. In codifying PL 23-34, article 6 was renamed from “Tinian Agricultural and Village Homesteads” to “First, Second, and Third Senatorial Districts Agricultural Homesteads.” The Commission omitted the drafting marks pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(g). Additionally, under Section 5 of PL-34, “[t]he provisions in Sections 2 and 3 of this Act shall apply retroactively to January 1, 2017 for homestead applications that were approved because of the requirements were met, including having no possessory interest in land at the time the application was approved
