§ 4529. Statistical Data. The Secretary shall maintain statistical data with respect to the number of citizens and CNMI permanent residents and U.S. permanent residents employed in each of the relevant NAICS categories. The Secretary shall describe any special definitions used in these regards to account for all employment of citizens and CNMI permanent residents and U.S. permanent residents within the enumerated categories. Commission Comment: The Commission changed “resident” to its plural form and changed the semi-colon at the end of the first sentence of this section to a period pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(g). *PL 17-1 (enacted on March 22, 2010) contained the following effective date provision: Section 12. Effective date. This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the Governor or becoming law without such approval and shall be retroactive to November 28, 2009 except as otherwise specifically provided herein.
